Назад у ліпені 2022 Кампанія CloudLinux абвясціла, што будзе падтрымліваць АС Ubuntu®. Пасля 1.5 гадоў можна падумаць, што гэта аб'ява будзе добра завершана… таму асобнік AWS EC2 быў запушчаны толькі для таго, каб сутыкнуцца з гэтай памылкай адносна kmodlve модуль:

Пасля адкрыцця білета, CloudLinux’ падтрымка сказала нешта дзіўнае:
The issue seems to be occurring because the kernel you are using is provided by a Cloud Pletform, looks like AWS. The module kmodlve supports only standard Linux-generic kernels. Please try booting into a standard Ubuntu kernel instead.
Што?!… Трэба сказаць: запушчаная АС - Ubuntu® 20. Якая функцыя ядра ў агульным ядры недаступная ў ядры AWS Ubuntu® самі падрыхтаваліся да AWS і ёсць звязаныя з прадукцыйнасцю?…

Размова пра ядро: нядзіўна, што ў AlmaLinux поўна памылак…. Выпрабаванні былі праведзены з сапраўды такім жа абсталяваннем (яны не будуць апублікаваны тут), і сеткавая прадукцыйнасць AlmaLinux вельмі нізкая (калі не цалкам няспраўны) так як ён стварае шмат IRQ, калечыць працэсар.
Гэта вам на вынос, цяперашні чытач: Ubuntu® 20 з'яўляецца пераважнай (калі вам не трэба выкарыстоўваць CloudLinux).
