令人驚訝的是，有些 (許多?) 託管公司仍在對安全通訊端層收費 (SSL證書) 證書, whereas those are now free:

• 使用 WHM/cPanel 使用 Let’s Encrypt (而且續訂是免費的 & 自動的!)
• or using a third party like SSL For Free.

The word needs to go out that SSL is not an expense any more. Some certificates show a green bar in the browser (被稱為 “EV” SSL for “Extended Validation”) which means that the legal existence of the company is double checked (by a human). Those EV SSL are completely worthless: they do not improve the encryption. Consider this: 10 big IT companies have been reviewed and none of them are using EV SSL!

結論: if you really want to invest for your business it will be better to spend your money towards Get Proper Hosting™.
