Livello socket protetto (SSL) i certificati sono gratuiti

È abbastanza sorprendente che alcuni (molti?) le società di hosting fanno ancora pagare per Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) certificati, whereas those are now free:

• sia con WHM/cPanel utilizzando Let's Encrypt (e il rinnovo sono gratuiti & automatico!)
• or using a third party like SSL For Free.

The word needs to go out that SSL is not an expense any more. Some certificates show a green bar in the browser (chiamato “EV” SSL for “Extended Validation”) which means that the legal existence of the company is double checked (by a human). Those EV SSL are completely worthless: they do not improve the encryption. Consider this: 10 big IT companies have been reviewed and none of them are using EV SSL!

Conclusione: if you really want to invest for your business it will be better to spend your money towards Get Proper Hosting™.
