Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) certifikáty sú zadarmo

Je celkom úžasné, že niektorí (veľa?) hostingové spoločnosti stále účtujú poplatky za Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) certifikáty, whereas those are now free:

• buď pomocou WHM/cPanel pomocou Let’s Encrypt (a obnovenie je bezplatné & automatické!)
• or using a third party like SSL For Free.

The word needs to go out that SSL is not an expense any more. Some certificates show a green bar in the browser (volal “EV” SSL for “Extended Validation”) which means that the legal existence of the company is double checked (by a human). Those EV SSL are completely worthless: they do not improve the encryption. Zvážte to: 10 big IT companies have been reviewed and none of them are using EV SSL!

Conclusion: if you really want to invest for your business it will be better to spend your money towards Get Proper Hosting™.
