Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) certifikáty jsou zdarma

Je docela úžasné, že některé (mnoho?) hostingové společnosti stále účtují poplatky za Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) certifikáty, whereas those are now free:

• buď pomocí WHM/cPanel pomocí Let’s Encrypt (a obnovení je zdarma & automatický!)
• or using a third party like SSL For Free.

The word needs to go out that SSL is not an expense any more. Some certificates show a green bar in the browser (volal „EV“ SSL for „Extended Validation“) which means that the legal existence of the company is double checked (by a human). Those EV SSL are completely worthless: they do not improve the encryption. Consider this: 10 big IT companies have been reviewed and none of them are using EV SSL!
